Welcome to Vinc. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. About the Service

Vinc is a financial coordination platform that helps groups of individuals, typically family members, track recurring financial contributions to a shared beneficiary. Vinc is a coordination and tracking tool only. We do not process, hold, transfer, or intermediate any funds.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use Vinc. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. No Money Transmission

Vinc does not transmit, hold, or process money on your behalf. All financial transactions occur directly between you and your chosen payment provider (e.g., Zelle, bank transfer). Vinc records only what you report to us. We do not verify actual payment completion or account balances.

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your contributions.
• Use the service only for legitimate, lawful financial coordination among willing participants.
• Keep your account and contact information current.
• Not use the service to facilitate fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity.

5. Subscription and Billing

Vinc offers a paid subscription plan at the current rate displayed on our website. Subscription payments are processed through Stripe; we do not store your payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Early-access pricing is subject to change, and we may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. SMS Program

Vinc Account and Group Updates is a recurring automated transactional messaging program. Messages may include account verification codes, invitations and onboarding steps, contribution reminders, records of member-reported transfers made outside Vinc, beneficiary confirmations, and group activity updates. Message frequency varies by account and group activity. Message and data rates may apply.

SMS participation is optional and is not a condition of purchasing a subscription or using Vinc's web service. You may enroll by following the instructions on our SMS Updates page. Reply STOP to end SMS messages. After STOP, we will send one confirmation and no further SMS messages unless you enroll again by replying START. Reply HELP for help or email hello@vinculo.money. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

Your use of Vinc is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Group Dynamics and Disputes

Vinc facilitates coordination among group members but is not responsible for disputes between members regarding contributions, confirmations, or payment obligations. We do not arbitrate or mediate disputes and have no liability for inter-member disagreements.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software comprising the Vinc service is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not financial advisors, and nothing in the service constitutes financial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vinc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via the contact information associated with your account.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
